Ex-Vice President Namadi Sambo’s Abuja Office raided by EFCC

Since after leaving Nigeria for "medical" issue, nobody has seen Namadi Sambo, who was vice president to the then President Goodluck Jonathan. His is still not feeling fine or he's hiding abroad?

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, coordinated a raid on the Abuja offices of former Vice President Namadi Sambo in the central business district.

According to Daily Trust, the offices of the former Vice President was raided on Saturday night as part of the ongoing investigation into the arms procurement scam, running into Billions of Dollars.

EFCC sources hinted that the former VP’s office is being investigated over allegations that some of the funds that were disbursed for political campaigns under the former NSA Sambo Dasuki were routed through the VP’s office.

They say the more they look at available documents, the more they find more traces of corruption.
